We use small files known as "cookies" to enhance users' experience of the Sportmeets service in the following ways:

When you register for the Sportmeets service, you can create your own profile, determine your own privacy settings and decide which groups you join. Your name and profile picture thumbnail may be available in all search results across the Sportmeets network and may be searchable through third party web-sites with which we and third party search engines, and may be automatically notified to third party tracking websites/weblogs. The fact that your Sportmeets profile has been added or updated, as well as a short extract from the title page of your Sportmeets profile, may be automatically notified to third party tracking websites/weblogs.

If you choose to use our invitation service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for information needed to send the invitation, such as your friend's email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email or instant message inviting him or her to visit the site. Sportmeets stores this information to send this one-time invitation, to register a friend connection if your invitation is accepted, and to track the success of our referral program. Your friend may contact us to request that we remove this information from our database.

Links

Sportmeets may contain links to other web sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any such other web sites. This privacy policy applies solely to the information collected by Sportmeets.

Security

We have security measures in place to protect our customer database and access to this database is restricted internally. However, it remains each user's responsibility:

1. to protect against unauthorised access to your details;
2. to ensure against use by anyone else of the Sportmeets service through the machine that member uses while they are "logged on" to the Sportmeets service;
3. to log off or exit from the Sportmeets service when not using it, and
4. to keep his/her password secret.

Remove Details

You may have your registration details removed at any time. In order to do this, email us at remove@sportmeets.com and we will endeavour to remove your details within 24 to 48 hours of upon confirmation of receipt of the email.
